Every year, billions of plastics are consumed, with the majority of them ending up in the ocean or as landfill waste. 20,000 plastic bottles are consumed per second. Let's also have a look at the plastic bag. Plastic bags are used by nearly a million, if not a billion, people every year. It takes more than 500 years for a plastic bag to decompose, meaning that it will last for about 15 generations. Now is the chance to take action and do our part to protect our mother earth; let us work together to heal our land. Let us minimize unnecessary purchases, bike instead of automobile, and learn about the 4Rs so that we can keep our neighborhood's pristine air. Zero-waste management is important since it can help us reduce pollution.
